but it SEEMS that if I'm right on this the Lightroom Classic is NOT of the subscription type and once installed and fully activated it then lasts "forever". that Lightroom CC had gone to annual 'subscription' basis. I found of course that contrary to all my earlier known facts. I did actually have a quite early version of Lightroom (maybe about ver.3 or so.) but as my computers never developed - as for my humble needs there was no real need - and of course LR was developing and became not usable on my older Win system.īut after a sad demise of my old computer I'm now 'stuck' alas with blasted Win 10 (slowly getting on top of it !) and so it was of interest to find out by chance that I could get a totally satisfactory (approved & genuine) copy of Lightroom Classic 2018 for a very good price. I've been a long-time user of Photoshop for some 20 years or so ( now with CS6) and apart from a few other progs that act as Plug-ins type I have always found that quite good enough for all my needs (NOT an expert by any means but just like to lightly process any decent pics. Class 2018 with Licence/Key or whatever it is and then 'for ever' (it says) Keep in mind that you will lose significant features if you go with Lightroom 6 instead of Lightroom CC.I have an excellent opportunity of buying a fully OK boxed version of the above.
